AQUA ROBO

After global warming, technocrats decide to design floating city. Main aim of this competition is to design a robot which can construct the new city by following some predefined rules.Everyone has to build 3 cities of red, green & blue colors. Each city contains 3 blocks, 3 humans, a bar & 2 clamps (fixed) and all float randomly. The homes should be placed in the specified location of respective color between two clamps and use the bar to fix them, so that they will not move further. After designing the cities, humans should be placed in their respective home of same colors. In the first round humans are not present.

Preliminary Round:

In this event, the team has to do specific task which is described below..

At a time only one robot can enter into the arena.

Max 3 members can be in a team.

Time limit is 7 min. for the 1st round.

In this arena there are 6 clamps, 3 bars and 9 blocks of different colors i.e. red, blue and green.

You have to fix the bar into the clamp of matching color, which will be awarded with 200 points for each bar.

Placing house inside the covered area of matching color will get 100 point for each house, like this way you have to design 3 same color cities.

If the color of house and bar are not matching, then you get only 50 point for each bar or house.

If any team damage any of the bar or house then they will lose 25 point for each damage.

Calculation of total point P=200*sb+100*sh+50*wp-25*br
Where sb= successful placing of bar, sh= successful placing of block, wp= wrong place, br= no of breakage.

The team which gets maximum point should be qualified for the 2nd round.

Number & teams to be selected for the 2nd round shall be announced at the event site.

Final Round

At a time only one robot can enter into the arena.

Limiting time is 10 min. for the 2nd round.

In this round 6 clamps, 3 bars, 9 block, and 9 humans are present.

Like first round you have to design the homogenous city. After this it is required to place same color humans on same color block.

For successful placing of bar, block, human will gain 200,100,150 points respectively.

If the color of block, man and bar are not matching, then you get only 50 point for each bar / block / man.

Any damage in the equipment will get you to lose 25 point per each damage.

Calculation of total points: P=200*sb+100*sh+150*sm+50*wp-25*be

Where, sb=successful placing of bar, sh=successful placing of block, sm=successful placing of human, wp=wrong place, be=no of breakage.

The team which attains the maximum points will be declared as winner.

Bot Specification:

The Max size of robot should be within 20cm X 20cm X 20cm.

Lego kits or other such similar kits are not allowed.

Ready-made toy base is not allowed, if any team uses this type of kits it is rejected by the Judges.

Ready-made gear boxes can be used.

Judges decision shall be final and bind to all.

Max supply voltage is 24‘V’.

Any robot should not damage the given arena; otherwise the team will be disqualified.

We will provide power supply of 220V, 50HZ.

If there is power cut during the competition, the participant needs to restart. Maximum two restart will be allowed.

Arena Specification

A water tank of dimension 350 cm X 200 cm X100 cm will be provided.

The length of bar is 50 cm.

The height of man is 10 cm.

The dimension of block is 5*5*5 cm3.

Distance between two clamps is 45 cm.<>

Prizes

Teams securing the 1st, 2nd & 3rd position will get prize & certificate.

All participants will get the participation certificate.
